Studio Habit #1: Please have your child wear an old shirt on Art days or keep a paint shirt in their book bag.
OUR STUDIO BASED ART PROGRAM IS DRIVEN BY THE PHILOSOPHY OF DISCIPLINE BASED ART EDUCATION (DBAE) WHICH PRIORITIZES THE 21ST CENTURY GOALS OF CRITICAL THINKING, PROBLEM SOLVING AND INCREASING COGNITIVE SKILLS.
DBAE IS ADDAPTABLE AND PRIORITIZES LIFE LONG LEARNING BY DEVELOPING A CHILDS WORKETHIC AS THEY TACKLE REALWORLD PROBLEMS, LEARN STUDIO HABBITS, SEE ART IN OTHER SUBJECTS AND WORK ON INTERPERSONAL COMMUNICATION SKILLS VIA PEER COLLABORATION.

*Take photos of student work to post to the Student Museum page.
*Art room laundry (to reduce the amount of paper towels we use in the art room we are using cloth towels. I have been taking them home weekly to launder but if anyone is interested in taking them home to wash that would be a great help.)
